How the course works

  • Throughout the 6 week course you are eased into running with a mixture of walking and running; as you progress you will run/jog for more time than you walk
  • Stretching is used to aid recovery and promote flexibility
  • Nobody gets left behind. Since we use a loop, there are stop off points if you feel you need a breather and then you can easily join back in
  • The aim is to run for fun, enjoyment and fitness
  • This is a great way to meet new people
  • Everyone works at their own pace and progress is individual to each person
  • You will be supported, helped and encouraged every step of the way

 

What the course covers

  • 2 sessions a week for 6 weeks as well as a tailored homework session to be completed in your own time
  • Weekly e-mail support and review
  • Hints and tips on nutrition and injury prevention
  • Ability to avail of discounted Personal Training Sessions
